The development consists of 50 2 & 3-bedroom terraced houses, constructed within the International Equestrian Centre at Kill in Co. Kildare.

To the rear of each house is a small private garden which, in turn, leads to one of the two internal communal gardens. These, due to their nature, are extensively used by the residents and their children.

The chosen structure was a system-built cold-rolled steel frame, with rendered block outer leaf. Walls came to site with insulation pre-installed, and an excellent U-value was achieved within walls of normal overall thickness. As well as speed, this form of construction resulted in a very high degree of dimensional accuracy, which greatly facilitated the fitting-out of kitchens and bathrooms. The ovoid openings in the steel floor and ceiling joists provided easy service routes such as distribution ductwork for heat-exchange recovery units.
