Planning approval was forthcoming from An Bord Pleanála for the construction of 3 large luxury detached dwellings, in the grounds of a modernist-style dwelling on a quiet cul-de-sac in Foxrock.

The existing dwelling, known as ‘Raford’, has been substantially altered and extended, to create a contemporary home, whilst carefully maintaining many original features of the house. The dwelling now extends to 2,950sq.ft.

Many advanced features have been incorporated, particularly in the area of sustainability: enhanced external insulation and render finish, high-efficiency heating systems and solar collectors, and coupled with the controlling of solar gain through the extensions’ design and layout, ensures that a very high BER rating has been achieved.
