Horan Rainsford Architects operate from the first floor and rear return of no.36 Main Street, in the centre of Blackrock village.

Planning approval has been obtained for an entirely new office wing for Horan Rainsford Architects, in a three storey building to the rear, with vehicular access from Idrone Lane.

Due to the buildings proximity to the protected structures of Idrone Terrace and their rear gardens, as well as the mews-type structures characteristic of the lane, careful consideration was given to the rear facade composition, and is made to appear as a two-storey structure.

Materials are of high quality (natural cut-stone and zinc cladding); the ground floor vehicular gates have been specifically designed to prevent any incidence of future graffiti, which is a blight elsewhere on the lane.
